Something Missing – Rose Bay

Coming soon

Introduction: The Rosebay Sanctuary, began with a heartfelt referral from another satisfied client. Allon, the homeowner, sought to elevate his already beautiful 2- bedroom apartment in Rosebay, desiring to seamlessly integrate cherished pieces and commission new artworks to create a cohesive and inspiring space. For us this is such a treat as we are able to make dreams a reality and elevate an already beautiful space.

Open plan living and dining Room: Collaborating closely with Allon, we curated a harmonious blend of furnishings and textures, anchoring the space with statement pieces like the Timothy Oulton Wildcat chair and Shabby Storage coffee table. From lighting to rugs and textured occasional chairs, we meticulously considered every detail to ensure a cohesive and inviting ambiance.

Suppliers included: From there we went on a wonderful journey sourcing pieces from Coco Republic, Fanuli, Fred International, M Contemporary, Armadillo and accessories from Ivy Lane.

Study: The study, once an under-utilised room, underwent a dramatic transformation. Inspired by Allon’s desire for a dedicated workspace, we infused the room with regal red accents and introduced King Living shelving and furnishings, a gorgeous Vipp452 Swivel Chair and finding a perfect space in the corner for his Timothy Oulton Wildcat chair.

Art: Embracing the power of art to infuse warmth and personality, we curated a collection of bespoke pieces from some much loved artists. From sustainable artwork handcrafted from Nashville’s torn-down homes by 1767 Designs to a stunning meditative piece from
Natalie Uhrik. We also sourced a stunning piece from Maria Benvenuto at M Contemporary, each artwork was carefully selected to complement the space and evoke emotion.

Master Bedroom: With a limited budget allocated for the master bedroom refresh, we focused on maximizing impact. Textured wallpaper from Casamance and soft furnishings added depth and warmth to the space, creating a serene retreat for rest and rejuvenation.

Client Testimonial: “I wanted to update the look and feel of my home, and a friend of mine recommended Aisha from Hills & West Interiors. I engaged her services and what a great decision that
was! She helped with every aspect, from direction and styling ideas to furniture sourcing and management. From key pieces through to furnishings and finer details. The brief was to focus on my open plan living/dining room and main bedroom. Aisha was able to bring
together existing furniture and furnishings along with new, and convert an underwhelming living/dining room in to a luxurious and comfortable space filled with soul. The main bedroom was definitely ‘missing something’, and Aisha was able to bring smart and stylishideas th at created depth an warmth. Her attention to detail, her passion, knowledge, style and genuine desire to achieve something special was apparent throughout. Next, we are starting on updating my study. I would highly recommend Aisha, both on a personal and professional level – she is amazing!”

Our Reflection: What we love most about this project is to witness Allon’s delight and satisfaction with his newly transformed home. His joy reinforces our dedication to crafting spaces that deeply resonate with our clients. As we prepare for the next phase of
renovating Allon’s bedroom, we eagerly anticipate continuing this journey of transformation and creativity side by side
