Billy Ho in Canggu, Bali Review: Asian Fusion at its Finest – Lux Nomade
Last month in Bali, I had the pleasure of dining at the newly reopened Billy Ho in Canggu. Led by chef Will Meyrick, who also heads Buzo, Billy Ho redefines the concept of Asian fusion with a bold twist. Designed to be a vibrant late-night spot, this restaurant brings together the heart of Japanese dining and a lively boteco ambiance for a one-of-a-kind experience.
From the adventurous Feed Me menu, I sampled delicacies like flame-torched salmon, sesame squid, and the tender char-grilled belacan octopus. With an equally unique cocktail menu featuring delights like the Peanut Butter Bourbon Old Fashioned and Miso Berry Bliss, Billy Ho’s offerings are as inventive as they are delicious. The venue itself has a buzzing energy, complete with communal tables, intimate nooks, and dynamic beats, creating an ideal spot for both foodies and groups.
