.M Contemporary Gallery – The ideal backdrop to style H&W’s look for 2019

.M Contemporary Gallery – The ideal backdrop to style H&W’s look for 2019

In December last year we had the opportunity to showcase our collections alongside other notable artists in Sydney’s .M Contemporary Gallery (you can read about the artists here). The gallery, located in the beautiful tree-lined suburb of Woollahra, Sydney’s epicentre for lovers of art and experienced collectors, buzzes with fortnightly exhibitions and the gorgeous space fills with glamorous and inspiring people.  The space, like a chameleon, into a totally space with each exhibition taking you on a different emotive and visual journey.

Exhibiting at the gallery in collaboration with other creatives and art was the perfect way to celebrate 3 years of Hills & West and the launch of our new collection, the Lunar Collection. However with access to such a beautiful space, we simply could not resist to use the space as a backdrop to Hills & West’s Lunar Collection and a refreshed style to take us into 2019.

Today, time has just flown by since the festive season, we are rolling out the pics from our shoot and we hope you love them.

Christopher Quyen did an amazing job, including all our collaborators, models, hair and makeup.

Hills & West has always aspired to collaborate with other creatives, particularly home-grown Australian talent. This fosters a strong appreciation for an emerging generation of artists, designers and other creatives to be supportive of one-another and help one-another build their audience and gain exposure.

We were incredibly happy with the success of the shoot and the people we had the pleasure to work with.

With our hearts full of appreciation we’d like to say thank you and we hope you enjoy!

I of course has a ball doing it too. Styling, photography and telling a story through image is just one of my favourite things.

Big love.

Aisha
