Recently, I had the pleasure of designing and crafting three bespoke pieces for a client; a media unit and two sideboards. Each piece was designed to reflect my client’s unique aesthetic while ensuring the home feels cohesive, balanced and inviting.
The Art of Intentional Design
At Hills & West Interiors, we believe that every detail matters. For this project, we incorporated materials that bring character and warmth to the space:
- Grecian-inspired raw and organic stone, evoking a sense of history and timelessness, as though unearthed from an archaeological treasure trove.
- Textured leather accents, adding depth and a tactile quality to the design.
- Raw brass, chosen for its ability to develop a rich patina over time, telling its own story as the years go by.
These materials not only elevate the overall design but also infuse the pieces with a sense of story and connection.
